Alok Kashyap
Alok is a Consultant Sonographer and Extended Scope MSK physiotherapist. He has over 15 years of experience in the musculoskeletal
field and is very assured in both Diagnostic and Interventional Sonography. He currently works in the Radiology department for Chelsea
and Westminster and Ashford & St. Peters Foundation Trust providing diagnostic and interventional Sonography.
Alok's interest lies in MSK Sonography, Rheumatology, lumps & Bumps, Interventional Sonography and Rehabilitation. He completed his
Postgraduate certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from Bournemouth University with Merit and Post Graduate Certificate Non-Medical
Prescribing from Oxford Brookes University. He holds MSc in Applied Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in
2008 and Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine in 2012. He is into evidence-based practice & research and works as a Manuscript Reviewer for
British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS). He is registered with HCPC, CSP, SOR and BMUS.
He brings this vast pool of knowledge and experiences to enrichen our delegate's learning experience as one of the lead educators at
Musculoskeletal and Diagnostic Courses. He has been providing up to date MSK ultrasound training to national and international medical
professionals. He is passionate about teaching and his workshops are interactive, easy to follow, fun and hands-on.
Dr Prakash Dey
Dr Prakash Dey is a consultant Paediatrician with expertise in Cardiology (PEC) working at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Since 2001 he has been working in NHS as Paediatrician and finished his Paediatric training in Cambridge & Oxford. Currently working at Stoke Mandeville Hospital he undertakes cardiac assessment of all babies and children with congenital heart disease. He has been a faculty in ECHO course since last 5 years.
